The high quality, superlight materials are of crucial interest to the project as well as to the car industry. Today, we have a situation where considerable amounts of steel used for car production end up unused. For several reasons, among them environmental demands, this situation will need to change. The Next Generation Vehicle Project´s stainless materials open up the door to much more efficient production methods, related to the large spectrum of shapeability that characterize the materials.
