Following a Steering Committee meeting on July 11, 2007, the Next Generation Vehicle Project has been granted funding for continued research.

Results from Phase I were thoroughly tested during Phase II. During Phase III, the project will go public. The objective is to prepare the car industry for transpositioning its production, eventually leading to radically lighter cars producing strikingly less emissions.
